The house Casa Frau, built in the particular style of the Campidano region, located on the central square of Piazza del Popolo, today is the home of the cultural center of the municipality of Pula, seat of the communal library and of Pro Loco Pula. The building originally belonged to the Frau family, the most salient figure of whom was Agostino Frau, knighted Cavaliere della Corona d’Italia for his numerous years of service as a mayor: he was, as a matter of fact, first citizen of Pula from 1881 until 1914.

On the occasion of special events you can admire one of the halls of Casa Frau, which bears frescos of great value inside, representing great historic-artistic interest, waiting to be restored.
