The plane of Pula is particularly fertile and, as a matter of fact, farming comprises one of the main economic activities. Grains are grown here, wheat, vegetables, citrus fruit, grapes, and other fruits, and ornamental plants are widely grown. There are many farms with cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, and goats.
